ok since barely anyone posts here(atleast during the 2 days i've been a member)
i'm going to ask some questions about your favorite things of a&a and some
other questions

what is your favorite National Advantage overall?

question 2:
what is your favorite country overall and why?

question 3:
what is your favorite unit(if any) in a&a and why?

question 4:
which a&a version is your favorite and why?

question 5:
why did you start play a&a?(this question is kinda stupid lol)

My favorite national advantage is SUPER MA... I mean fortesses ad heavy bombers and long range aircraft and....KABOOM. My fav country is USA cause I like waging massive air and naval wars. My favorite unit is Battaleships. My favorite A&A is revised and I started about a year ago.

Fav NA would be kamikaze, it sucks but....

Fav Country: Japan, Theyre easy, not the center of attention, which lets them conquer territories without being too noticable. They have a huge navy. their income is pretty good, considering that their territories dont get conquered as easilyas the british.

Fav Unit: Battleship because they take two hits to sink. thats the main reason, a 2/2 unit wouldnt be so bad if it took two hits to take down

Fav Version: Axis and Allies Pacific. I dont know why, i just love this game way more. 2nd fav is Revsied.

I started A&A because my cousin bought Samurai Swords, and i played with him a lot. I loved that game. He also told me that there was another game almost like S.S. called Axis and Allies. a couple years went by, and i was at Toy's 'R' Us, and I saw A&AE and A&AP. by this time, I was really into WW2, and i remembered Shogun, so i begged my parents to buy it (which they did cause im an only child ). i started about 3-4 years ago

Question 1: Got to be Fortress Europe

Question 2: Britain. I like Allies because of the coordination necessary to win and Britain is always having to make tough decisions in the Far East

Question 3: Fighters. Best overall.

Question 4: Revised. Like world conflict!

Question 5: In 2000 a friend pulled AaA Europe off the shelf... I didn't do to well (I knew to only buy Infantry ) but I was hooked... I have expanded beyond wargames to Euro styles which I think I am liking more in the sense of gaming but that is for a different thread...

1: Colonial garrison-tough to beat as the axis.
2: Britian-they have the challenge of fighting multiple fronts, and can strike anywhere.
3: Aircraft carrier- can provide a powerful defense for fleets of weakerr ships, and have a good attack, as well as good striking range.
4: Europe- much more of a challenge.
5: I started about three or four years ago.

1. Heavy bombers, even tho you oly get two dice instead of 3. Its still a serious blow. I love to use them to keep countries broke.

2. JAPAN, especially if you use the treaty with Russia. you can concentrate on the pacific..... but Brits are probably the hardest country to run, they are so spread out in the revised game.

3. battleship----its the big dog on the board.....

4. revised is nice... i think it gives russia a better shot at the game.....

5. We started playing A&A back in the 80's when toysRus had it. With RISK played out, it was a welcome global domination type game.......
